The P.R.O.C.E.D.O. Method©

Understanding something isn't enough to change it. So what is?

The Method is a seven-stage practice. It takes you from automatic reaction to conscious choice, all the way to a change that no longer takes effort.

You know it's good for you. You don't do it.

You know exercise is good for you, yet every time you find a good reason not to go. The knowing is complete; the behaviour doesn't move.

The lever is a single moment.

Between what happens and what you do there is a gap, sometimes almost none. Every stage of the Method opens that gap, or uses it.

Change is not effort.

Real change arrives when there is no longer an inner argument to win: what used to cost you now simply happens.

The seven stages

One after another, always in this order

P Presence You notice the reaction as it starts, before you follow it.
R Release You go through the tension that keeps you stuck in the usual response, until it gives way.
O Observation You watch how the reaction forms: when it arrives, what shape it takes.
C Clarity You tell apart what is conditioning from what would be a real choice.
E Energy You gather what you need to act differently.
D Decision You choose one concrete action: the first step, not the finish line.
O Beyond You check in real life whether the choice held, and whether it still takes effort.

And then? The cycle starts again. The Method doesn't aim at a final goal, but at the ability to stay in motion: feeling, loosening, choosing, checking.
